Playing music true to their heritage, their program consists of Spanish and Latin American music, such as Boccherini, Sierra, Piazzolla, etc.
The Cuarteto Latinoamericano has been acclaimed for its "fire, precision and taste" as well as its "exceptional drive, control, and finesse". Pair that with Manuel Barrueco's "remarkable musicianship and a world of technique -- seductive sound and uncommon lyrical gifts" who has been repeatedly described as "one of the best classical guitarists on the planet...", and you are in for an exciting concert!
After 9 years, the MBM will take a vacation in 2005. We want to thank everyone that has taken part in the class in the past years, some of you have become very good friends of ours over the years.
Don't forget, practice those scales and sing, sing, sing!
